The American Legion Riders from Post 181 from Sandwich is hosting the annual Armed Forces Run from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9. Registration will be at the Sandwich VFW, 713 S. Main St. in Sandwich. All bikes out at 9:15 a.m.
The ride begins at the Sandwich VFW and ends at the Yorkville American Legion Post, with stops at the Ottawa Legion, Sycamore Veterans Club and Elburn Legion. To participate in the ride, there is a donation of $15 a rider and $5 a passenger, which includes food before the ride. All proceeds go to Rolling Thunder to support veterans.
