Bears injury report: Outside linebacker Khalil Mack ruled out for 2nd straight week

Bears outside linebacker Khalil Mack will miss his second straight game due to a foot injury, the team announced Saturday.

The Bears officially ruled Mack out of Monday night’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Mack didn’t play last week against the San Francisco 49ers either. Mack hadn’t missed a game since 2018 prior to last week.

Third-string quarterback Nick Foles (illness), tight end J.P. Holtz (concussion) and running back Damien Williams (knee) have also been ruled out of Monday’s game. With Williams out, it seems likely the Bears will activate David Montgomery off injured reserve. Montgomery has been back at practice this week.

Safety Eddie Jackson (hamstring) is doubtful for Monday night’s game. Jackson injured his hamstring against the 49ers. Inside linebacker Alec Ogletree (ankle) and receiver Darnell Mooney (groin) are both questionable for Monday’s game.
