Doobie Others, Doobie Brothers Tribute Band, plays Princeton

A Doobie Brothers Tribute Band, the Doobie Others, took center stage in Princeton Friday, Sept. 10, during the 50th annual Homestead Festival. The Doobie Others deliver powerful harmonies and a fun-filled, high-energy performance covering a catalog of Doobies hits spanning both the Johnston and McDonald eras.

The Homestead Festival Steering Committee chose the band in honor of Keith Knudsen, a former drummer of the Doobie Brothers. Knudsen, once a Princeton native, is also now an honored member of Princeton’s Wall of Fame. His star was unveiled earlier on Friday outside the Apollo Theater in Princeton with members of his family attending the ceremony.
