Earthmover Credit Union (ECU) recently awarded four Teen Investment Program college scholarships totaling $4,000 to local high school students including Sophia Andrade of Plano and Emerson Kincaid of Oswego.
Andrade is planning to attend the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign to study history.
Kincaid is planning to attend the University of Alabama to study mechanical engineering.
The winners were based on outstanding academics, extracurricular involvement, and an essay about how the COVID-19 pandemic affected their life.
