GALLERY: Yorkville celebrates the Fourth of July

Yorkville residents filled sidewalks and grass to observe the city’s annual Fourth of July celebration.

Festivities kicked off Saturday morning with the annual parade through the streets, after which residents made their way to Town Square Park. There they listened to the sounds of the Yorkville Community Band, enjoyed local eats and relaxed in the surroundings.

Celebrations for the Fourth of July continue at dusk, when the city launches fireworks from the corner of Countryside Parkway and Route 47.
