Grundy County releases indictments

MORRIS — The Grundy County Circuit’s Clerk Office has released the following felony grand jury indictments. The public is advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Terrance Howard Jr., 18, of Davenport, Iowa was indicted for the aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, a class four felony.

Meghan McGee, 31, Homeless, was indicted for the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, a class four felony.

Neal McMurtry, 29, of Romeoville was indicted for unlawful possession of cannabis, a class four felony.

Jose Ortiz-Caneda, 30, of Minooka was indicted for driving while license revoked, a class four felony.

George Sartore, 50, of Diamond was indicted on two counts of aggravated battery, both class three felonies.
