Indian Valley Vocational Center (IVVC) has been awarded a $1,000 grant by Walmart. The grant was sponsored by the Walmart Community Grant Program, which provides opportunities for organizations to improve the communities that Walmart serves.
The grant will fund the purchase of AED training equipment that IVVC students enrolled in public safety and health occupations programs will use for CPR training, required for CPR certification. The training equipment will also be used for the IVVC SkillsUSA Community CPR Initiative during the 2021-2022 school year. The CPR Initiative will make CPR training available to all IVVC students and increase CPR awareness in the community.
