GRAYSLAKE – Kiddie Academy of Grayslake, a provider of educational child care in the Grayslake area, invites children and families to celebrate its Grand Opening with Storytime LIVE! from 10 a.m. to noon July 24 at 807 Barron Blvd.
“Here at Kiddie Academy, our goal is to embrace every experience as a teachable moment and an invaluable opportunity for young children to learn, providing more value than just daycare services,” Anu Saini, owner and operator of Kiddie Academy of Grayslake, said in a news release. “My team is dedicated to delivering the highest-quality educational child care possible to positively shape the lives of the children and families of the Kiddie Academy of Grayslake community.”
Since its inception in 1981, Kiddie Academy has been grounded in the vision to create a community that shapes and inspires children for the future.
Kiddie Academy of Grayslake opened in April 2021 with nine classrooms, a big playground with a basketball court, and other equipment to make outdoor learning fun. The state-of-the-art 9,490-square-foot location is ready to serve 146 students ages 6 weeks to 6 years in the area and is bringing approximately 30 new jobs to the community.
“We believe that opportunities to teach and expand young minds present themselves every day and everywhere,” Greg Helwig, president of Kiddie Academy, said in the release. “Kiddie Academy empowers children with valuable tools to help make the most of those opportunities and we aim to foster a fascination for learning in the classroom, at home and throughout the community.”
During the Grand Opening event, attendees will enjoy a story reading and classroom visit with Corduroy Bear for a truly memorable experience for children.
This event is free, and the community is invited to attend.
