New civil prosecutor joins McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office

The McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office hired a new assistant state’s attorney to join its civil division.

Eric T. Seeleman began his work with the state’s attorney’s office on Tuesday, according to a news release from McHenry County State’s Attorney Patrick Kenneally.

Seeleman earned his Bachelor of Arts in 2009 from the University of Pittsburgh and went on to receive his law degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2013, according to the release.

His experience includes six years at a private law firm in Honolulu, where he drafted contracts and corporate documents and litigated employment and property disputes, trusts and estates, according to the release.
