Police blotter: November 10, 2021

Thomas Vernoy, 39, of Marseilles, was charged with DUI, unlawful possession of cannabis, illegal transportation of alcohol, no valid driver’s license and no insurance at 3:55 p.m. Tuesday on Route 23 at North 26th Road in Ottawa Township, La Salle County Sheriff’s Office said.

George Stricklin, 58, of Ottawa, was charged with assault Tuesday at 414 Nebraska St., Ottawa police said.

Tavarish I. Coburn, 23, of Ottawa, was charged with battery Tuesday in the 2600 block of Columbus Street, Ottawa police said.

Brandon A. Farrell, 19, of Ottawa, was charged with DUI and no valid driver’s license Tuesday at North 31st and East 16th roads, Ottawa police said.

Robert T. Bradley, 69, of Streator, was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident at 4:46 p.m. Monday at First Avenue and Arch Street, Ottawa police said. Bradley was charged after striking from behind a vehicle driven by Sydney H. Partridge, of Ottawa, which in turn struck from behind a vehicle driven by Jennifer L. Matke, of Ottawa, police said. There were no injuries.
