DeKALB – Stage Coach Players will host a fabric giveaway from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, in the back parking lot of the theater, 126 S. Fifth St. in DeKalb.
In addition to the fabric giveaway, Stage Coach Players will also be holding a food drive to benefit the Feed My Sheep Food Pantry of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in DeKalb. The main purpose of Feed My Sheep Food Pantry is to supply food to the needy. The pantry occasionally offers household goods, clothing and other items.
Feed My Sheep Food Pantry has garden plots which have provide more than 1,000 pounds of fresh vegetables each year. Pantry and church volunteers help to pick the fresh, organic veggies each week.
Non-perishable items such as canned meat, vegetables and fruit, along with boxed food and items in plastic containers will be accepted during the food drive. Paper products will also be accepted, but glass containers will not.
