AMBOY – Two 14-year-olds, a boy and a girl, were killed in a one-vehicle crash around 4:14 Saturday on Robbins Road south of Amboy Road, the Lee County Sheriff’s Department said in a news release this afternoon.
The driver, 19-year-old Draven Webb of Dixon, and a 14-year-old girl were injured and taken to KSB Hospital in Dixon. Webb then was taken to OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, the release said. His condition was not available today.
The release described the crash as a collision, and said it is under investigation. No further details were released.
