The DeKalb Chamber on Friday announced that the annual Memorial Day parade will not be held this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The announcement came a day after Gov. JB Prtizker extended the stay-at-home order in the state until May 30.
The parade goes throughout town and culminates at the Ellwood House front porch each year.
