DeKalb County property tax relief forms available for relief during COVID-19 crisis

The DeKalb County Clerk & Recorder’s office announced this week that forms are available on the department’s website which can help with property tax relief during the coronavirus pandemic.

According to a news release from Doug Johnson, clerk and recorder, the forms are for DeKalb County property taxpayers which may be used for relief during the economic crisis caused by the viral pandemic.

Forms PTAX-761 and PTAX-245 are available for those who suffered property damage and want to make a requests for deductions or reassessments.

The forms are available from the Illinois Department of Revenue, County Assessor or the Clerk/Recorder’s office. They will also be available at the county web site, dekalbcounty.org
