Illinois has 1,197 new cases of COVID-19 and announced an additional 33 deaths on Sunday, according to the Illinois Department of Public Health.
Illinois has now seen 30,357 positive cases of the novel coronavirus. A total of 1,290 people have died throughout the state.
Illinois has tested 143,318 people.
As of Sunday, Chicago has 12,533 confirmed cases of COVID-19, while the rest of Cook County has 8,739.
Lake County has 2,162 confirmed cases, DuPage 1,695, Will 1,643, Kane 605, McHenry 340, Kendall 135, DeKalb 55, Ogle 48, Whiteside 36, La Salle 28, Grundy 26, Lee 17, Bureau eight and Carroll six.
New deaths include:
• Cook County: 1 male 40s, 1 female 60s, 5 males 60s, 4 females 80s, 2 males 80s, 2 females 90s, 3 males 90s, 1 unknown 90s
• DuPage County: 1 female 80s, 1 male 80s, 1 male 90s
• Kane County: 1 female 90s
• Madison County: 1 male 50s
• Monroe County: 1 female 90s
• Sangamon County: 1 male 90s
• St. Clair County: 1 male 60s
• Will County: 1 female 50s, 1 male 60s, 2 females 80s, 1 male 80s, 1 female 90s
