19-year-old Kirkland teen killed after car flips over, crashes into trees

KIRKLAND – A Kirkland teenager is dead after police say his car veered off the road, flipped over multiple times and hit a grove of trees.

Logan T. Marshall, 19, of the 15000 block of Elizabeth Court in Kirkland, was pronuonced dead on the scene around 7:42 a.m. Friday, according to a news release from the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.

Marshall was in a 2004 Acura RSX driving northbound on Malta Road near the intersection of Hortense Drive in Kirkland when his car veered off the roadway to the east and flipped over multiple times through a grouping of trees, the release states.

Marhsall was ejected from the car and died on the scene. He wasnn’t wearing a seatbelt, police said.

The DeKAlb County Sheriff’s Office is coninuing to investigate the crash with the help of the DeKalb County Coroner’s Office.
