350Kishwaukee to hold meeting on solar energy systems

350Kishwaukee is holding a meeting to allow the public to learn about residential solar energy systems.

Joseph McClintock, a solar sales manager, will present on what is involved with a home solar energy system and how it can reduce energy bills at 7 p.m. Monday in the second floor meeting room at the DeKalb Public Library, located at 301 Oak St.

McClintock will be joined by Enery Dhanes and students from Courtney Gallaher’s environmental management class at Northern Illinois University, who will make a presentation about the greenhouse gas emissions inventory.

350Kishwaukee is a group of local people who are concerned about the growing problems with the climate system. It meets monthly.
