Ace Machine and Tool selling Christmas decor to benefit Safe Passage

CORTLAND – A Cortland business for the third year in a row is holding a Christmas campaign to raise funds for a DeKalb County charity by selling custom-designed holiday decor through their online Etsy Shop.

The team at Ace Machine and Tool is selling two-and-a-half-inch tall Christmas tress made of aluminum, white plastic or brass, along with wooden reindeer in a variety of stains. All proceeds this year will benefit Safe Passage, Inc., in DeKalb County, the county’s only domestic violence and sexual assault crisis center.

The trees – which run for $12 a pop on an Etsy page managed by Rachael Rosenthal, office manager – are created in Elburn and packaged in Cortland. Buyers also can pay for regular shipping on Etsy.

The reindeer, new this year, come in two sizes: 8-and-a-half inches or 11-inches in walnut or cedar stains, and go for $15 a pop.

Those interested in purchasing a tree or reindeer can visit the company’s Etsy page by searching Ace Machine Tool on the site. The company accepts credit cards and PayPal.

Interested buyers are urged to place their order by Dec. 24 at the latest to receive them by Christmas.
