DeKALB – DeKalb County UNITES will host a free live webinar with Matt Streb, the chief of staff for the Northern Illinois University President’s Office.
The webinar will take place via Zoom from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday.
Streb will join DeKalb County UNITES co-chairman Cohen Barnes for the webinar to talk about NIU’s plans for reopening. NIU recently released a comprehensive reopening guide called Protecting the Pack, detailing NIU’s response and plan for helping to ensure the health and well-being of the NIU community. Streb will discuss key elements of the plan and respond to participants’ questions.
The webinar also will help local businesses and organizations get the information they need to welcome NIU students back to the community.
