DeKALB – The public is invited to a Ward 6 meeting with Alderman Mike Verbic to discuss concerns or issues within the city.
The meeting will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Community Room on the second floor of the DeKalb Police Department, 700 W. Lincoln Highway. The meeting will be held in person only, with all attendees required to wear masks. Those attending are welcome to record and/or livestream the meeting.
Verbic will provide opening remarks, and City Engineer Zac Gill will join the meeting to support a discussion of maintenance and planning for streets. Other topics of discussion include a review of the Knolls special service area, a proposal for stop signs at the Knolls north/south three-way intersection, fireworks and other Ward 6 activities. Time will be allotted for citizen comment.
Residents can send any other topics for discussion to mike.verbic@cityofdekalb.com. Those will be presented at the meeting, and the feedback will be shared when possible.
