Egyptian Theatre to host holiday film series

DeKALB – The Egyptian Theatre, 135 N. Second St. in DeKalb, has announced the films in its Holiday Film Series sponsored by Thrivent Financial.

“It’s a Wonderful Life” will be shown at 1 p.m. Dec. 6, “White Christmas” will be at 1 p.m. Dec. 13, and “The Santa Clause” will be at 1 p.m. Dec. 10.

Tickets cost $10 for adults and $8 for students, children and seniors age 65 and older. Friends of the Egyptian Theatre members receive an additional $2 discount per ticket.

Seating will be extremely limited to accommodate social distancing and a safe experience for all. All attendees must wear a mask covering their mouth and nose at all times while in the building. Masks can be removed while sitting in your seat.

All tickets will be reserved to allow for social distancing. Entry times will be staggered to avoid crowding.

Guests who are experiencing any of the following symptoms should not attend the event: cough, fever of 100.4 degrees or higher, shortness of breath, chills, headache, loss of taste or smell, muscle pain, shaking with chills and/or sore throat.

Ticket holder contact information may be disclosed to health department officials in the event of a potential exposure to assist in contact tracing.
