Elder Care Services offers community class Thursday on pharmaceutical safety, education

DeKALB – Those interested in learning more about how to properly store, dispose of and manage pharmaceuticals in their home are invited to attend a free class Thursday at Elder Care Services, 1701 E. Lincoln Highway.

Elder Care Services offers several free Community Education classes each year, and January’s class will feature Lehan Drugs’ pharmacy staff, according to a news release.

Thursday’s class is set for 2 to 4 p.m. at Elder Care Services. If you wish to attend, call the agency at 815-758-6550.

Lehan staff will present information on durable medical and respiratory equipment; medication safety, management and disposal; compounded medication; answer questions about CBD and address topics surrounding women’s health, including post-surgery products, the release states.
