DeKALB – Free COVID-19 testing will be available in DeKalb next week.
DeKalb High School, 501 W. Dresser Road, will be a free temporary drive-thru COVID-19 testing site. The testing will be offered through a partnership of the Illinois Department of Public Health, the DeKalb County Health Department and DeKalb Community School District 428.
Free simple nasal swab testing will be available 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 12, Tuesday, Oct. 13, and Wednesday, Oct. 14. Individuals do not need to be sick or show symptoms to be tested. People tested will be called with their results in four to seven days.
When entering the testing site, enter at the stop light entrance of Pride Avenue.
