DeKALB – For the third week in a row, DeKalb County’s got winter weather headed its way that could affect the weekend commute and bring up to six inches of snow.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for DeKalb County effective from 6 p.m. Friday to midnight Saturday, which will come with three to six inches of snow.
The majority of the storm is expected Friday night into Saturday morning, with snow tapering off Saturday afternoon, according to to the advisory.
Roads are predicted to get slick and snow covered for the Friday evening commute, increasing by the end of the evening, which may reduce visibility to less than one mile at times.
Drivers are urged to slow down and use caution in such conditions.
