A Joliet man was killed after he hit the median on Channahon Road and crashed into a tree Wednesday afternoon, police said.
Officers responded to the crash near Reeves Road shortly before 1:30 p.m. and determined the driver, identified by the Will County Coroner’s Office as 40-year-old Timothy Harris, was heading west when he hit the median, ran off the road and struck a tree, according to police.
Harris was taken to AMITA Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet where he died, police said.
The crash remains under investigation, according to police.
