• Sai M. Davis, 26, of the 300 block of Mulhern Court, Yorkville, was charged Jan. 13 with driving under the influence, driving with a blood alcohol content greater than 0.08% and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Deputies were called to an accident about 5:30 p.m. at Route 47 and Base Line Road in Sugar Grove Township where a gray Dodge Journey driven by Davis had rear-ended a black 2019 Lincoln, the report stated. Davis’s breath sample measured his blood alcohol content at 0.214%.
• Benjamin Z. Perdue, 21, of the 300 block of Main Street, Burlington, was charged Jan. 12 with speeding 35 or more miles an hour over the speed limit and reckless driving. Deputies clocked a black 2015 Dodge Charger driven by Perdue traveling eastbound on Plank Road east of Romke Road traveling 120 miles an hour in a 50 mph zone at 1:43 a.m., the report stated.
