State Representative Jeff Keicher (R-Sycamore) is hosting a free, drive-through prescription drug drop off event with the Sycamore Police Department on Tuesday, August 11.
The event will run from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m, with an additional hour from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. to accommodate working families. The event will take place at the Sycamore Police Department parking lot, 535 DeKalb Ave., in Sycamore.
Area residents are invited to drop off expired or unused medications to be properly disposed of. Accepted items that residents may drop off include prescription medications, prescription ointments and patches, vitamins and pet medicines. Restricted items include hypodermic needles and illegal drugs.
