MALDEN — A rural LaMoille woman was killed Tuesday evening in a single-vehicle accident near Van Orin.
Janelle Geiger, 44, was pronounced deceased after Bureau County deputies responded to reports of an accident at 5:10 p.m. Tuesday at 2650 East Street near 2300 North Avenue, south of Van Orin. Preliminary reports indicate Geiger was ejected from the vehicle which was traveling southbound on 2650 East Street and left the roadway.
The accident is under investigation.
