SYCAMORE – Sycamore’s newest little library can be found at Sycamore Park District’s Legacy Campus, 480 S. Airport Road, made possible by a donation by the Schulz family.
Design and painting was led by high school student Kenzie Repeta, installation done by the Park District and a donation of books from the Sycamore Library.
It is the second year the library and the park district have worked together to share resources and raise awareness in their respective user base about the opportunities each provide to the community.
A Little Free Library is a “take a book, return a book” free book exchange. They come in many shapes and sizes, but the most common version is a small wooden box of books.
Anyone is permitted to take a book or bring a book to share.
