Pearl City students busy with projects

PEARL CITY — Students in the Pearl City School District have been busy with projects for the third quarter.

Art students had their work displayed at the Aspiring Artist Show at the Freeport Art Museum on February 25.  Pearl City entered 43 pieces of art from kindergarten through high school.  Joshua Wool received second place in the elementary category.

Fourth grade students visited kindergarten classes to help those students understand CVC (consonant, vowel, consonant) words for their lessons.

And Janet Rauch’s sxith grade class has been creating their own presentations using a program called Flip-grid and a set of criteria. Their projects turned out amazing and using this new program provides our students with another tool to display, defend, and present their knowledge.
