Marshall Boyle, a former United States Marine from DeKalb who suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder, can be seen around town and on campus at Northern Illinois University playing his guitar with his service dog Lucy. Boyle, who has battled through many difficulties with the help of music has become an ambassador for Guitars 4 Vets, a nonprofit organization that uses guitars to help veterans cope with a variety of challenges.
