DUI arrest on Route 34

Plano police arrested Sheryl A. Vanetten, no age given, of North Center Street, Plano, after stopping the vehicle she was driving at 1:17 a.m. March 27 on Route 34 at Sandy Bluff Road. Police said Vanetten was cited for driving under the influence, aggravated speeding and improper lane use.

Domestic battery arrest

Plano police arrested Patricia A. Dahlke, 44, of the 3900 block of Pratt Street, Plano, at her residence at 1:51 a.m. March 24 on charges of domestic battery. Police said officers were told that Dahlke battered another member of the household. The suspect was transported to the county jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.

Cited for fleeing, eluding

Plano police cited Jonathan Hernandez, 21, of the 600 block of Jaffe Street, Plano, with fleeing and eluding police after officers attempted to stop his vehicle for an illegal exhaust at 2 a.m. March 27 on Route 34 at Center Street. Police said Hernandez was taken into custody without incident and later released with a notice to appear in court on the citations.

Motorist stopped, cited

Plano police ticketed Johnny B. McCoy, 42, of the 300 block of North Center Street, Plano, with driving while license revoked after stopping his vehicle on Center andStewart streets at 7:53 p.m. March 24.

Battery arrest

Plano police arrested Lysette A. Alegria, 30, of the 100 block of Magnuson Lane, Somonauk, at 10:07 a.m. March 25 in the 200 block of Mitchell Drive on a charge of battery. Police said Alegria was booked at the police station and later released pending a court appearance.

Motorist stopped, cited

Plano police ticketed Isabella M. Brooks, 25, of the 300 block of 115th Street, Chicago, after stopping the vehicle she was driving at 9:30 p.m. March 28 at Waubonsee Drive at Hoffman Street. Police said Brooks was cited for driving on a suspended license and failure to secure a child younger than eight. She was released from the scene pending a court appearance on the tickets.
