Justin E. Foster, 22, of Peru, was charged with driving while suspended, no insurance and expired registration sticker at 7:51 p.m. Thursday at Seventh and West streets, Peru police said.

Two motorists were treated and released from St. Margaret’s Health-Peru for injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash at 1:56 p.m. Thursday at 38th Street and Venture Drive, Peru police said. Katlynn T. Muzzarelli, 20, of La Salle, was ticketed for failure to yield after colliding with a vehicle driven by Rosanna S. Ellberg, 28, of Peru, police said.

Todd J. Kingen, 37, of Streator, was picked up on multiple Marshall and Peoria county warrants at 4:03 p.m. Thursday in the 500 block of West Frech Street, Streator police said.

Michael D. Fuentes, 19, of Streator, was charged with domestic battery at 5:15 p.m. Thursday in the 700 block of Sterling Street, Streator police said.

Christopher Schumacher, 36, of Streator, was arrested Thursday at his residence on a La Salle County warrant for a charge of aggravated battery, the La Salle County Sheriff’s Office said. Schumacher was taken to La Salle County Jail.

Fire calls

Ottawa firefighters responded 5:32 a.m. Friday to 120 W. Stevenson Road for an alarm activated by someone who had been smoking on the third floor hallway.

At 10:01 p.m. Thursday, Ottawa firefighters responded to 400 Washington St. for an alarm activated by steam from a shower.

Ottawa firefighters responded to 505 College Ave. for an alarm activated by changes made from maintenance.
