The Real Estate Broker Pre-license class will be offered online through Kishwaukee College this fall. The course will begin Sept. 1 and end Nov. 20. The class format will be a combination of online and virtual/live lecture plus interactive, online activities.
The program will cover the fundamentals of real estate and prepare participants to sit for the Illinois state licensing exam. The cost of the program is $500.
The program will cover the 75-hour Broker Pre-License Topics and Applied Real Estate Principles. Topics covered will include real estate concepts, math, brokerage services, real property contracts, the Illinois Real Estate License Act of 2000, financing considerations, property management, fair housing, current information on the Truth in Lending Act and Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, and more.
