DEKALB — Four people were sent to the hospital after a crash involving a semitrailer and two cars about 1:20 p.m. Thursday on Route 38 between Peace and Somonauk roads.
DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office said that stretch of Route 38 will remain closed for several hours as crews work to clear the road after the crash.
The driver of the semitrailer, two people from one car and one from the other car were sent to Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital, according to the sheriff’s office.
