SHABBONA – Shabbona’s first ever Farmers and Artisan Market will kick off on Saturday and run every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon through October.
The market will host local meat, vegetable, egg, honey and handmade craft vendors. The market will be located on the corner of Route 30 and Nokomis in Shabbona. Social distancing, mask-wearing and regular sanitizing of surfaces will be maintained.
The market was organized by Destination Shabbona, a nonprofit community development organization working to encourage community and visitor interest in the unique recreational, economic and cultural significance of Shabbona.
