Sandwich High School athletic director Tim Gipe was honored for the Sandwich High School football team’s fundraiser, “Blackout 2019,” that benefited Open Door.
Fans showed their Indian Pride and their support for Open Door clients by buying and wearing Blackout T-shirts to a home football game. Open Door clients attended the game as VIP guests and were seated in a special section in the end zone. They were also invited to help welcome the team onto the field by forming a spirit tunnel with the band and cheerleaders.
Open Door provides services and programming for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, with a focus on “Opening Doors & Developing Opportunities” for its clients.
