The community is invited to mark the 10th anniversary of the Somonauk Public Library at a celebration from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12.
Activities include face painting, live music, raffles, balloon making, magic, a scavenger hunt, make-and-take crafts and prizes.
Attendees can meet local authors, who will sell and sign books. Cake and ice cream will be served.
Special guest, “Woody,” will be at the library from 1 to 3 p.m. for photos.
