For the first time, summer reading will be entirely virtual at the Genoa Public Library, according to a news release,
The library will be using Beanstack for patrons to complete reading and activity logs online. Every Sunday during the program, a new theme and activity badge will be released in Beanstack. Every badge earned awards patrons five tickets to be entered into virtual raffle drawings. Complete more badges to earn more tickets.

Cortland Community Library reopening with curbside pickup and limited hours
Cortland Community Library has reopened for curbside pickup services with limited hours.
Curbside pick-up hours are limited to 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, and Thursday.
Holds can be placed multiple ways, through their PrairieCat Catalog linked on the website, www.cortlandlibrary.com, via email or via phone. There will be a limit of 15 items a checkout. Holds also are limited to items in Cortland Library as interlibrary loan is not available yet.
If you would like to place a hold via email, email the item you would like to request, along with your name and library card barcode number to circulation@cortlandlibrary.com.
If you would like to place a hold via phone, call the library at 815-756-7274 during business hours. If there is no answer, leave a message and library staff will respond as quickly as able. The library dropbox is open for returns.
Library staff will let you know once items are ready, and you should call once you have arrived to pick up you order.
