MAPLE PARK – A Sycamore man was taken by helicopter to OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford after a motorcycle crash late Thursday in rural Maple Park.
Steven G. Ross, 29, of Sycamore, was found in the north ditch east of Route 38 and Pritchard Road, about a half-mile west of Maple Park, according to a DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office news release. His motorcycle also was found in the ditch.
Ross was charged with improper lane use, driving without insurancee and driving under the influence of alcohol, according to the news release.
Ross is in critical condition, according to an OSF spokesman.
