Two new Geneva D-304 board members sworn in

GENEVA – Two new members of the Geneva District 304 school board, Molly Ansari and Paul Radlinski, were sworn in at a special meeting Tuesday.

Ansari and Radlinski were chosen to replace former board members Taylor Egan and Alicia Saxton, who resigned earlier in March.

Ansari and Radlinski will serve until the consolidated election April 4, 2023, at the end of their terms.

The board chose Ansari and Radlinski from a field of 17 applicants for the two vacancies.

According to her application, Ansari is a clinical counselor and art therapist who works with school-aged children. She has a doctorate in counselor education and supervision and serves as an assistant professor at Bradley University.

Radlinski holds a bachelor degree in chemistry and an MBA in finance and is recently retired from managing several chemical global businesses, according to his application.

The next school board meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. April 11 at Geneva Middle School South, 1415 Viking Drive, Geneva.
