Update: No one injured as DeKalb police investigate Market Street house targeted by gunfire Tuesday

DeKALB – DeKalb Acting Police Chief Bob Redel said no one was hit by gunfire Tuesday night on Market Street and police investigating the incident believe a home was the target of the shooting.

DeKalb police responded to reports of gunfire in the 900 block of Market Street around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday after callers reporting hearing shots fired.

“Nobody was hit, nobody was hurt, and investigators are currently working,” Redel said Wednesday. “They have been most of the night. And we believe the house was targeted.”
