The public is invited to a free exhibit “Foxes, they live among us”, at the Batavia Public Library featuring the photography of Rudy Viereckl, an artist and wildlife photographer. The display will showcase the Fox Valley’s namesake critter through March, according to a news release.
Admission and parking are free and the exhibit is available for viewing from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday at the library, 10 S. Batavia Ave.
“I have been involved in documenting and photographing urban foxes for a few years now and it’s time to give back to the community,” stated Viereckl, the owner of RV Fine Photography in Batavia. “I am hoping to not only enlighten, but to educate those with an open mind on the value that foxes bring to our lives.”
