The house where two parents allegedly beat Crystal Lake boy AJ Freund to death was demolished Wednesday, nearly a year since the 5-year-old was reported missing.
Just before 8 a.m., the home began to be torn down starting with the top of the structure on the south end. A large backhoe tore into the roof of the home, exposing a child’s bedroom – photographs and drawings still hung on the wall.
