Visit McHenry County unveils unified rebranding

The county of McHenry, a nonprofit that promotes tourism with in the county and the McHenry County Economic Development Corporation recently unveiled new collaborative branding.

The rebranding is meant to align the three entities and better promote the county as a destination to live, work and visit, the nonprofit Visit McHenry County said in a news release.

Visit McHenry County now will be known as Naturally McHenry County, according to its website. Visit McHenry County worked with the county and McHenry County Economic Development Corporation on the rebranding as well as Pekin-based McDaniels Marketing, which is an experienced tourism branding firm.

“With this new brand, we’re excited to promote the fact that McHenry County is wide open for business,” McHenry County Economic Development Corporation President Jim McConoughey said in a statement. “McHenry County is notable for its proximity to major markets in Chicago, Rockford, and Milwaukee. Combine that geographic advantage with a wealth of available retail and industrial space and McHenry County is a prime destination for new businesses or those looking to expand.”
