FVCS uses grant funds to fix parking lot

DeKalb County Community Foundation once again has enhanced the quality of life for thousands of seniors who annually come to Fox Valley Community Services.

Through a $10,000 Community Needs Grant, DCCF has enabled the organization to repair its community center parking lot. Seniors and community members use “The Center” for programs, services and events.

DCCF supports the charitable needs and efforts of nonprofit and community organizations throughout DeKalb County. In 2018, $3,457,806 was awarded to the community through grants to enhance the quality of life in the community.

FVCS, through its senior center, home services and adult day service, offers activities and services to seniors in DeKalb, Kane, Kendall and LaSalle counties.

Visit www.fvoas.org or call 815-786-9404 for information on programs and services. Stop by the Community Center at 1406 Suydam Road in Sandwich for a personal tour.
