A representative of the U.S. Census Bureau will be at Fox Valley Community Center at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, to explain the pay, flexible hours and paid training of becoming a 2020 Census worker.
The U.S. Census Bureau is recruiting thousands of workers for temporary jobs available nationwide in advance of the 2020 Census.
The 2020 Census Jobs will be located across 248 Area Census Offices nationwide and offer flexible work hours, including daytime, evenings and weekends. The Census Bureau is committed to hiring census takers to work in their own communities.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid Social Security numbers, be a U.S. citizen and have a valid email address. Applicants will be placed in an applicant pool for 2020 Census field positions for positions they qualify for and will be contacted as work becomes available in their area.
