Public asked to submit questions for upcoming virtual Election 2020 candidate forums

The public is asked to submit questions for virtual candidate forums held on Oct. 1 and Oct. 8.

The forums will be held virtually via Zoom and are organized by the League of Women Voters DeKalb County and the DeKalb Public Library.

The audience will not be able to ask questions to the candidates during the event. Questions must be submitted in advance via email to by Sept. 15. Indicate the office the question is directed toward in the email.

DeKalb County candidates for state’s attorney, circuit clerk and coroner will attend the forum on Thursday, Oct. 1, forum. Questions are also being collected for the DeKalb County council candidates and representatives to the Illinois Assembly from Districts 70 and 90, who will attend the forum on Thursday, Oct. 8.
