NIU Convo to host For King & Country drive-in concert Sept. 25

DeKALB – Northern Illinois University’s Convocation Center will host a For King & County concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25.

The four-time Grammy Award-winning Christian pop duo will perform a live, in-person drive-in concert. For King & County is comprised of Australian brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone. Their latest song “Together” is one of the duo’s seven chart-topping hits on the U.S. Christian charts.

The concert will take place in the Convo Center’s Lot C3.

Tickets can be purchased online via Ticketmaster. Ticket prices are per vehicle, with each vehicle having an occupancy of up to six people. VIP tickets cost $228 per vehicle, tickets in price Level Two cost $153 each and Level Three tickets cost $128 per vehicle.

Vehicles will be parked in corresponding ticket sections based on the order in which they arrive. The lot opens at 5:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. 

Concert attendees can tailgate before the event by bringing chairs, food and drinks. Grills, barbecue pits, open fires, tents and other large structures are not permitted.

Pets will not be permitted at the concert. Working service dogs will be allowed.

Portable restrooms will be available around the perimeter of the concert area.
